Wound Vac - Duration and Frequency Teach

Taught patient/caregiver that it is recommended that you remain on NPWT 24-hours a day. If the system must be off for more than two hours at a time, you must contact SN so the vac dressing can be replaced. The NPWT dressing should be changed three times a week for the most part. Sometimes this may change depending on the order of the treating physician/wound specialist.
