PICC Line Dressing Change - Using Alcohol/Iodine
Current PICC dressing observed to be clean, dry and intact. Removed old PICC line dressing without difficulty and without movement to PICC line catheter. Measurement from PICC tip to insertion site noted to be ____ cm. PICC site observed to have no redness, drainage, or swelling. Using strile gloves, cleansed site alcohol x 3, iodine x 3, air-dried, stat-lock applied, covered PICC insertion site with biopatch, secured with window-dressing. Date of dressing change indicated on provided tape. Removed old PICC extension and microclave tip and replaced with new, primed extension and microclave tip. Flushed with NS then Heparin to check patency.
